Speech Therapy Assessment

Assessments help us understand your child’s strengths and areas that may benefit from additional support. The goal is develop a clear, personalised plan that feels supportive and achievable to your child’s unique learning style and communication profile.

Assessment session times and costs vary depending on your child’s age and needs, as well as the specific areas you’re wanting to explore. Some assessments may be completed in one session, while others may require additional observations, caregiver interviews, and/or school collaboration to ensure we gain an accurate understanding of your child’s learning profile.

After your child’s assessment, you’ll receive a written summary of their results, which is included in the assessment fee. This summary will identify your child’s strengths and any areas that may benefit from speech therapy support.

If you’d like a more detailed report of your child’s learning profile, we’re happy to prepare a comprehensive report upon request. An additional fee applies for this extended report.
