Every child develops at their own pace. We work closely with families to provide practical, caring support that fits naturally into everyday life.

We support children who may be experiencing:

  • Global Developmental Delay:

    • Children that may need extra time in areas such as movement, thinking, learning, play, and communication.

    • These children often benefit from consistent support to build their skills at a pace that feels right for them.

  • Developmental Language Disorder:

    • Children that have ongoing difficulties understanding and/or using spoken language.

    • They may find it hard to follow instructions, learn new words, form sentences, or share their ideas clearly.

  • Receptive Language Delay:

    • Children who find it difficult to understand what is being said, which can make following daily routines, classroom instructions, lessons, or stories feel overwhelming.

    • These children may appear distracted or confused, however may simply need information presented in clearer, more manageable ways.

  • Expressive Language Delay:

    • Children who find it challenging to express themselves, whether through spoken words or non-verbal communication like gestures, facial expressions, or pointing.

    • They may have challenges with building vocabulary, forming sentences, using correct grammar, or telling a clear story.

  • Late talkers:

    • Supporting children as they develop early communication skills such as babbling, using their first words around 12 months, combining words around 24 months and following simple 1-2 step directions.

Our aim is to collaborate with parents and families to create fun, realistic, and language-rich opportunities at home so that children can feel understood, confident, and supported as they grow their communication skills.
