Program Summary
This school readiness program has been carefully designed by a Speech Pathologist, bringing together evidence-based approaches to early language and literacy development.
Children will be introduced to key oral language and pre-literacy skills that provide the foundations for reading and writing. Through purposeful and engaging activities, the program supports children to build the skills, confidence and familiarity they need to make a positive start to Kindy in 2027.
Please note that this is a group school readiness program and is not intended to replace individual speech pathology assessment or therapy where clinically recommended.

Learning Outcomes
Communication and pre-literacy outcomes from this program include:
Building awareness of letters, sounds, words and sentences
Exploring syllables, onset and rime
Identifying beginning and ending sounds in words
Building awareness of how speech sounds are made
Building confidence in conversations and group activities
Understanding, recalling and following instructions
Fees and Participation
“Ready Set Kindy!” is a small-group, 30-minute program delivered by a qualified speech therapist over 8 consecutive weeks. The total cost of the 8-week program is $280, equivalent to $35 per week. Payment is required in full prior to the commencement of the program.
At the completion of the 8-week program, parents will receive a complimentary progress report via email outlining the skills and areas covered throughout the program, as well as your child’s progress. The progress report does not form part of a formal speech and language assessment.
As sessions are delivered as part of your child’s learning centre program, make-up sessions or refunds for missed sessions are unfortunately not available if your child is absent on the day of the program.

Information & Privacy
During the group program, notes may be taken about your child’s communication skills. This information:
Will be kept confidential and adhere to the Easy As Speech Therapy Privacy Policy.
Will only be shared with a child’s parent/guardian and your child’s Early Learning Centre where relevant to the delivery and support of the program, or where required by law.
Will be stored securely in line with NSW privacy legislation.
